Since 1981, the Association France Nouvelle-Zélande has encouraged interaction between people interested in cultural exchange between France and New Zealand.
The most valuable aspect of the association is the opportunity it provides for personal contact between people.
As the Maori proverb says:
He aha te mea nui o te ao? He tangata, he tangata, he tangata.
(What is the most important thing in the world? It is people, it is people, it is people.)
